How to handle spoilers in the wiki

Is there a standard way to handle spoilers in wikis? I think it’s valuable to have details about the story there, but it also could be sad to just be looking up skill stats and accidentally find out that Bakal is Slak’s father.

Should there be spoiler tags? Hidden text that requires mouse-over? A spoiler fold-out that hides story elements on pages that also contain data and strategy?

Generally, story and stats are separate sections.
For example, let’s take bulbapedia.

.
The first few sections tell about lore, while the last few tell you the stats.

If you’re looking for one aspect, the other aspect is pretty hard to “accidentally” find.

I guess my concern was that right now, for Azra at least, she has a page that is dedicated to her, and on that page we have her story and her stats. Because we have these unique characters, it lends itself to having character pages. Should we have two pages per character, one for gameplay/stats and one for lore? Or should we only have gameplay info on a character page and put all lore into one area (which may have sections for characters within it)?
