It seems the spambots have finally got ahold of the Defender’s Quest forums. Might I suggest adding a new field on registration that asks something along the lines of, “Fill in the Blank: Defender’s _____?” to prevent automated spammers?

It happens occasionally. This is a pretty vanilla phpBB setup - we might be able to turn on some more options, but right now I’ve got the anti-spam stuff cranked as high as I can without bringing in external plugins. Fortunately, I have a nice “delete all posts” button. 
Nvm - apparently Q&A is one of the standard options. You suggestion has been implemented.
We won’t be helping to transcribe books any more, but hopefully the spam will die down.
