Infinite Ranger Range

  1. Level up a ranger’s “Range Focus” ability
  2. Reset points on the ranger.
  3. See how the increased range stays.’

Edit: Actually it does not appear to be “infinite”, as putting new points into “range focus” resets the bonus range, but it lets you get “range focus” without putting any points in.

Interesting - is this just a display error or does it persist?

Ie, if you leave and return to the party screen, does the bonus stay? And does the “free” range manifest in battle?

It seems to persist throughout the game, until you quit/reload your save (at which point some validation seems to reset it back to the correct value). It does manifest itself in actual gameplay (I can use it to increase the range of archers without having any points in the skill).

Okay, fixed in my local build. The fix will be up in version 0.8.9
